Drake gave fans a closer look at a new piece of jewelry with deep ties to his musical history during a recent livestream.
While appearing alongside comedian BenDaDonn, the Toronto rapper displayed a platinum Cash Money chain that he said came from Birdman. During the conversation, Drake described Cash Money jewelry as artifacts, framing the pieces as part of a history that remains connected to the people who helped build it.
The discussion also touched on Drake’s collection of jewelry previously owned by Pharrell Williams. Drake acquired several of those pieces at auction and has since incorporated some of them into his music and visuals. The jewelry has become part of an ongoing conversation about memorabilia, ownership, and the cultural history attached to major moments in hip-hop.
Drake also used the livestream to share a music update. He said several previously unreleased songs connected to his FOMO project are expected to reach streaming platforms Thursday. A complete track list was not announced.
